PROFILE
My strongest work happens in the space between disciplines. I can read the science, identify what matters, structure information, design the learning or decision path, and use AI tools to turn that reasoning into a working product.
I start with the mechanism, user and context before choosing the interface.
I use structure, interaction and visual logic to reduce cognitive load.
I prefer tangible prototypes and iterative improvement over abstract presentations.
CAPABILITIES
Three connected areas that reflect the work I actually do.
Evidence-based digital tools, clinical education, medical content systems and health-tech product concepts.
Interactive learning experiences that turn abstract rules, mechanisms and processes into things people can see and practice.
Rapid product prototyping, information architecture, workflows, documentation and iterative UX improvement using AI-native tools.
EXPERTISE
Original notes on how I approach recurring problems across health tech, scientific communication and learning products.
I work at the point where health-science knowledge has to become a usable digital product. That means translating evidence, safety boundaries, user needs and product logic into interfaces people can actually understand and use.
Explore expertiseScientific communication is not about making information sound simpler. It is about preserving what matters while changing the structure, language and level of detail so the right audience can use it.
Explore expertiseI design learning products for subjects that are difficult because they are abstract, procedural or hard to practise alone. The product has to do more than display content: it has to create a useful practice loop.
Explore expertiseFIELD NOTES
Short essays from problems I actually had to solve — not generic commentary about AI or product trends.
The easiest way to make a health app look more impressive is often the fastest way to make it less responsible. With DIGESTIA, I deliberately stopped short of diagnosis, treatment advice and individualized predictions.
Read noteA beginner can communicate successfully and still make mistakes. That sounds obvious, but many automated language tools behave as if every article, preposition or word order error deserves the same penalty.
Read noteThe classic coagulation cascade is useful, but it becomes a bad teaching tool when students are asked to treat it as if it were the whole physiology of hemostasis.

An exam-focused learning product for Brazilian candidates preparing for the Dutch Basisexamen Inburgering A1, combining speaking, sentence completion, KNS and reading practice in one structured system.
A consumer health product for people using GLP-1 therapies, combining an educational digestive simulator with longitudinal self-tracking and consultation-preparation tools.
An interactive hemostasis learning environment that connects the classic coagulation cascade, the cell-based model, laboratory screening tests and clinical reasoning.

A working system for medical and scientific writing that combines project organization, research tooling, structured AI workflows and quality review.
A full Dutch-learning platform for Brazilian learners, with structured curriculum, interactive lessons, pronunciation support, AI conversation and learner progress.
An experimental Dutch phonetics lab focused on perceptual training and sound discrimination using browser-based audio interaction.
An Amsterdam editorial and utility platform that combines local information with practical digital tools and structured discovery.
JOURNEY
From diagnostics and clinical training to scientific communication and AI-enabled products.
Started inside the healthcare diagnostics ecosystem and learned how products, professionals and patients connect.
Worked with diagnostic products, training and scientific support, including hands-on education for healthcare professionals.
Moved deeper into clinical education, physician support and international medical-device environments.
Applied scientific reasoning to medical writing, structured content and multidisciplinary communication.
Expanded from communicating information to designing interactive systems that help people understand and use it.
CONTACT
I am open to international roles, product collaborations and selected projects in health tech, AI, scientific communication and learning products.
